Governmental organizations are also looking to and dependingon AWS for cloud solutions and services.AWS is looking for a Classified Material Custodian to support the AWSInfrastructure Operations (Infra-Ops) team in maintaining a sound securityposture for US Intelligence Community (USIC) Cloud technologies andactivities. As a member of the Infra-Ops team, the candidate will beresponsible for receipt, issue, safeguarding, accounting, and whennecessary the destruction of classified material in accordance with USGovernment security standards.The ideal candidate will bring physical security, project management,process creation and improvement, and auditing skills to this position. Inaddition, the candidate will assist in the development and implementation ofrelated security procedures and training for handling classified material.Critical thinking, process improvement, and independent problem solvingwill be key in this role.Exceptional communication skills are paramount. The successful candidate willbe a strong communicator both written and verbally, and will leadmulti-discipline, process improvement project initiatives. The candidateshould possess the ability to work independently to continuously improvematerial handling and preemptively identify and mitigate risks. The rightcandidate for this role will also have basic familiarity with computerhardwareAmong Other Duties, the Information Security Material Custodian Will:* Manage the Infra-Ops classified material program to ensure procedures aredeveloped and operated in accordance with internal and customer securitypolicies and practices.* Develop, track, and report on key program performance metrics.* Continuously monitor processes and drive improvements in efficiency andquality of our security programs.* Develop, communicate, and maintain project roadmaps.* Provide training and awareness to employees for materials handling,reporting requirements, accountability, and destruction procedures.* Map current processes and procedures to establish baselines and recommendareas for process improvements.* Effectively prioritize and execute tasks.* Be self-motivated, able to work with minimal day-to-day guidance and havethe ability to own problems through to resolution* Responsible for the maintenance of up-to-date records and the submission ofall required accounting reports.Basic Qualifications* Candidate must have working knowledge of project management* Candidate must display knowledge of regulations, directives, processesand procedures for the control of highly classified materials.* Candidate must be able to design and document processes and be able to applycontinuous improvement methodology to them* Candidate must have experience developing and monitoring audit mechanisms* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in cramped and/or elevated locations."Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph"Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
