Raytheon GPS-OCX Integration Lead in Aurora, Colorado

The GPS Integration Lead is responsible for GPS OCX segment and element level test, technical responsibilities are for large ground systems to include integration and test plan preparation and maintenance, test verification requirements, integration and test procedure development, integration and test execution and test report development. Process responsibilities are participating in engineering requirement reviews, technical document peer reviews, conducting peer reviews, preparing and statusing verification traces. Participate in the development and implementation of top-level engineering work plans, schedules, developing estimates to completes (ETCs), participate in the facilitation/execution of formal test events, and manpower requirements and ensure that subordinate plans and schedules are consistent with project objectives and milestones. Lead engineers and support personnel in all aspects of integration and test activities. Provide extensive technical advice to resolve difficult test and integration implementation problems. Responsible for providing specialized technical advice and information to systems and software engineering and coordinating this information across all integration and test projects on the GPS OCX program. Prepare, evaluate and implement corrective plans based on integration and test metrics. Assure that overall program integration and test plans are developed, including integration and tests to be performed at vendor, company or field facilities, and that procedures are written and approved in compliance with safety, quality control and organizational processes. Establish integration and test conduct standards and implement integration and test conduct disciplines throughout the system life cycle. Coordinate the performance and monitoring of integration and test activities verifying compliance with established plans, requirements and procedures, and ensuring system readiness and integrity. Establish and provide estimates, schedules and written proposals for integration and test projects on the GPS OCX program. Interface with senior management and customers daily. Duties also include the planning and development of automated test scripts as required to perform automated testing. Specifically, this position provides technical leadership for worldwide integration of the GPS-OCX system. Selected candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to solve particularly difficult problems involving a diverse set of engineering disciplines. Candidate must be capable of analyzing and proposing cost effective integration solutions for technical challenges that have a long-term impact on the GPS-OCX program posture, and briefing these recommendations to senior leadership. Must have significant systems integration problem solving expertise, and be capable of garnering considerable respect both within the Raytheon GPS-OCX program and with the customer community.
