Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Quality Analyst2/3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be based in Boulder, Aurora or Colorado Springs,CO with significant travel to include supplier sites..

Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance organization.

Roles and Responsibilities will include a subset of:

  • Planning, organizing, directing and reporting on all supplier quality-related activities to assure fulfillment of contract/purchase order requirements.

  • Assuring that customer quality-imposed technical requirements are adhered to by supplier and that a quality system is maintained.

  • Conducting programs designed to improve supplier performance, productivity, and process validation.

  • Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities, and maintaining feedback loops.

  • Spending significant time at subcontractor facilities to ensure success.

This position may be filled at a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Prior work experience in subcontract quality and/or administration.

  • The ability to work with all levels of management and the possession of excellent communication skills.

  • The ability to travel substantially to subcontractor facilities and test sites

  • ActiveSecret clearance.

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Prior work experience in subcontract quality and/or administration.

  • The ability to work with all levels of management and the possession of excellent communication skills.

  • The ability to travel substantially to subcontractor facilities and test sites

  • ActiveSecret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications for a Level 2 and a Level 3:

  • Prior work in OPIR and SBIRS/DSP satellite engineering, use and knowledge of the Missile Defense systems exploitation of OPIR or experience in Multi-Int data fusion.

  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

  • AS9100 requirements awareness, knowledge of what these standards mean in relation to business processes

  • Active TS clearance with SCI access.
