Job Description
Ricoh is looking for a Quality Development Project Manager with 3-5 years of relevant experience working with complex printing systems including hardware, control unit, and software components. As a member of the Quality Development Engineering (QDE) organization, the candidate must have experience managing quality with exceptional customer focus. The Quality Development Project Manager will monitor project health and guide the teams toward best practices to achieve high quality releases.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Track and manage all test activity associated with qualifying a digital printing product
Coordinate Field Support test activities associated with the product
Responsible for managing a large project from a cost, schedule and quality perspective
Coordinate day to day test activities including Test Progress, Defect Analysis, and Parallel Activities
Create and support project schedules for all test activity
Report and communicate status to project stakeholders, management, and executive team on a weekly basis
Identify potential business and technical risk for the project and contribute to mitigation plans
Coordinate with and support global project teams
Recommend improvements and new approaches to test processes and procedures
Negotiates effectively with team members to define goals, work content and schedules
Required Skills
5+ years Project Management experience
3+ years Quality Assurance experience in an R&D environment
Experience with Electro-Mechanical system design validation
Excellent technical writing, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly developed critical thinking skills
Understanding of metrics used to measure quality of HW, Microcode and Electro-Mechanical systems
Understanding of root cause analysis and strategic action plans
Ability to translate customer expectations to project specifications
Ability to understand and report on multiple project inputs and technical areas to support committed schedules and parallel activities
Meticulous reporting and presentation skills for executive briefings of project health
Working knowledge in business matters, finance, planning, forecasting and personnel in order to manage team staff and business issues
Strong skills with all MS Office tools (especially Excel, Project, and PowerPoint) including experience with macros, pivot tables, graphs, and effective chart making
Education/Certifications:
· B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent Engineering degree
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred Skills
Understanding of digital production printing concepts and technologies
Understanding of Integrated Unit Test, Automation, Regression. Function, System, Performance, and Hardware Verification
Data mining experience within TestRail, Sharepoint, Redmine or other similar tools
Working experience using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies
Proven influential negotiation skills

Compensation Range $84,000 - $100,000
Position is bonus eligible, 6% STI
