We are seeking a Technical Sourcing Senior Principal Specialist, to provide leadership and direction for the management, identification,implementation and alignment of sourcing strategies and build supplier networks to manage multiple RD/NewProduct Introduction sites across global categories to achieve business objectives.

A Day in the Life
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations for Patient Monitoring, you will establish and maintain strongcross-functional collaboration with RD, PMO, RQ/QA/QE, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Excellence,Corporate initiatives and leadership. Ensure sourcing timelines and direct material cost targets are achieved againstproject launch commitments .
Manage sourcing timelines and components cost requirements to ensure new product launch commitments aremet.
Support both internal and external product development programs.
Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, and efficiencies, andworks collaboratively with team members to prioritize and drive implementation.
Ensure resource alignment based on project complexity.
Maintain capable supply base and ensure project timelines in support of new product revenues can be achieved.
Collaboratively coordinate with key functional core team members with supplier engagements and productdevelopment. Includes MITG AME, PMO, QA/QE, Regulatory and RD.
Ensure full supply chain continuity via supplier capacity management and risk mitigation strategiesthrough to the base materials.
Maintain key/critical components process technologies and associated component material constraints.Develop and implement suppliers to meet current and future process needs.
Leverage Category and Emerging Markets strategies for global development opportunities.
Build effective relationships both internal and external, and interfaces with senior management asrequired.
Prepare and provide monthly project management updates along with tracking key project milestones andresource utilization.
Work with key functions to ensure material development strategies are aligned with the business unitand manufacturing objectives.
Manage inventory requirements for new product requirements through the MITG Advanced Sourcing Group.
Prepare and present project updates and monitors group key performance indicators/metrics.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
10+ years of Procurement, Sourcing, Engineering or/or Supply Chain Management
3 + years leadership experience managing a team
Project Management and Lean Six-Sigma methodologies, Certification from the Institute of Supply Management (C.P.S.M.), (CPIM) e-Sourcing Platform Ariba)
Excellent leadership, organization, project management, communication and negotiation skills
Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
Solid understanding of procurement/sourcing/category management methodologies
Strong negotiator with the ability to drive value for business partners and suppliers
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative/integrative style of working to accomplish objective.
Ability to influence and actively shape strategy
Proven track record of building credible, reliable, customer focused sources of supply across multiple regions and multiple business units.
Experience in a continuous improvement environment with a track record of achieving significant productivity improvement (Quality, Service Levels, Delivery and Cost) year on year. Lean Manufacturing, Project Management and Six-Sigma Methodologies.
Demonstrated success in change management and in building high performance cross functional global work teams.
Ability to analyze spend data and present insights based on the needs of the audience.
Demonstrated strategic sourcing skills in a multi-business, multi-location global environment.
Medical device technical knowledge and ability to comprehend complex items related to customer, category and equipment specifications, contract terms and conditions, statements of work, engineering drawings and material specifications.
