Air Squared offers exciting careeropportunities, working on projects like the NASA Moxie project, LockheedMartin, Chrysler, GM, Honeywell and other cutting-edge projects.The Hardware Non-Conformance Quality Engineer will oversee the processing,resolution, and Engineering Change mitigation of all internal and externalNon-Conformances. Air Squared is looking for an experienced engineer who canwork with quality, operations, engineering, and procurement to tracknon-conformities, conduct border studies and improve tolerance to reducescrap or acceptanceJob Responsibilities:* Oversee and lead the NCR process between quality and the machine shop,suppliers, and the assembly floor.* Create and manage KPI's which identify gaps and target areas forimprovement.* Come up with mitigation strategies to reduce NCRs by relaxing tolerance ortesting requirements.* Conduct tolerance stack-up studies to correct production tolerances andreduce NCRs.* Work with engineering to see through NC parts to production with the intentof conducting performance testing in order to complete tolerance borderstudies.* Work with reliability engineers to life test product with NC parts in orderto complete tolerance border studies.* Work with product engineering to see through Engineering ChangeNotifications once border studies have been complete.* Work with Manufacturing engineering in correcting assembly-related NCRswhich results in assembly error or increased scrap.* Responsible to administer Corrective Actions within the company and withcustomers/suppliers.* Support the Quality department with supplier interface, which may includethe supplier approval process, performing on-site audits and SupplierCorrective Action Request (SCAR).* Develop and implement Quality specific KPIs.* Perform other tasks as assignedQualifications:* Bachelor of Science Degree (required) in Engineering* 5-11 years experience in a Quality Engineer role in a manufacturing facility(preferred)* Experience with Quality Manager Systems meeting ISO 9001:2015 standards(preferred)* Proficiency reading and understanding manufacturing prints and associatedGDandT (required)* Ability to use a variety of inspection equipment (preferred)* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (required)* Experience with MRP/ERP (required) (Global Shop preferred)
