Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Broomfield CO

Duration: 3 months with the possibility of going temp to hire

Pay: $60,000-$80,000/annually DOE

JOB SUMMARY

Kelly Services is seeking a talented and organized Quality Engineer for a customer of ours in Golden CO.

We are in search of a candidate to fill a Quality role within the company to support ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 QMS, as well as perform Quality duties in support of customer issues and continuous improvement.

This candidate should be well organized, detail orientated, adaptable, timely in communication with customers, and able to perform DOE studies and write concise reports.

Company has an initial immediate need to do the following:

  • Review and finalize Master Validation Plan. Generate a report justifying any excluded parameters.

  • Generate formal screening study reports from company data.

  • Generate OQ, PQ protocol and final report.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure QMS compliance

  • Work with quality auditors to complete company audits

  • Quality investigations are completed and documented

  • All appropriate documents, products, vendors, and materials have necessary approvals

  • CAPA system is used per company procedures

  • Ensure compliance to company quality system standards throughout company

  • Continuous improvement project implementation and management

  • Performing DOE's and capability studies

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher. Preferably in Chemistry or Engineering.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in a Quality role

  • 2+ years in a production environment

  • Leadership skills, including the ability to work with teams, and effective communication are required

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and other demands, while meeting deadlines and budgetary controls is required

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to collect and interpret data

  • Ability to perform arithmetic using: standard and metric units of measure, fractions, and decimals

Industrial Skills:

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access) and Google Online Product Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)

  • Competent in MiniTab or other like software

  • Ability to perform Capability, Gage R&R, DOE studies and write concise reports of the results for internal and customer usage

  • Lean certification/training preferred
