Carollo Engineers Structural Engineer, Entry level in Broomfield, Colorado
Overview
Carollo Engineers is a nationally recognized engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an entry level Structural Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities by working with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design, coordinating design details between various project design disciplines
Prepare reports
Develop plans and specifications
Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
Provide engineering services during construction
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis
1 to 3 years of experience in the design of structures
Structural engineering design and detailing skills
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
Demonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundations
Knowledge of Structural design codes and standards
Experienced at preparing construction drawings
Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
Proficient in MS Office, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Registration as a Professional or Structural Engineer
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
Experience with Microstation, Autocad, or Revit
Pay Range
$60,000 to $78,000 annually. Pay may be more or less depending on experience, skills, education or geographical location.
