The successful Missile Body Development Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead will:

- Define an organization and build a strong team of leaders and individual contributors to plan and successfully execute a portfolio NSP program

- Be a senior leader deployed to the Missile Program Manager and works collaboratively to define the Missile Systems Production, Structures, Ordnance and Controls Systems Architecture

- Lead the design, development, integration and deployment of a Missile System within an Integrated Weapon System

- Be a Full Spectrum Leader who is disciplined in value driven Systems Engineering and drives design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way

- Work closely with your Navy counterpart to field a strategic system

Typically has 20 - 30+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or related engineering discipline

- Technical background in structures, propulsion and missile controls systems

- Leading large-scale technical programs

- Demonstrated experience as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on a Weapon System Program

- Defining and managing to an Integrated Master Plan (IMP)

- Managing large- complex subcontractors

- Demonstrated ability to integrate cost, schedule and technical constraints

- Risk & Opportunity Management

- Demonstrated ability to interact with DOD customers and build effective relationships

- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

- Program Start-UP environment

- Leadership team experience on a development program

- Control account management principles, techniques, and processes, minimum in either a CAM position, or a role with similar experience

- Certified Principal Engineer (CPE)
