PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:While programs may have differing requirements for project engineeringcoordination, typical responsibilities include:High performance with desktop computing and MS Office (MS Excel).Understand, plan, and coordinate technical and maintenance activities.Oversight of multiple engineering and sustainment disciplines to guidedesign, testing, maintenance and installation needs on specialized platforms.May provide oversight for procurement and repair and return processes toensure that all materials are purchased or repaired and coordinated accordingto production and program needs.Supports the installation, integration, maintenance and testing ofequipment on specialized platforms.Organizes periodic testing as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance toensure proper equipment and aircraft operation while understanding aircraftand system operation.Coordinates the technical activities of engineers, maintainers, andoperations personnel.Interface with customers and sub-contractors to oversee the generation ofinternal specifications, control documents, verification and validationplans, procedures, reports or other documentation in support of customerrequirements.Complete, track, file, and accurately manage all documentationassociated with directed and implied assignments.Establish and maintain necessary channels of communication, internally andexternally, to assure total program awareness including key elements such ascustomer relations and timely recognition/resolution of potential problems.Monitoring day-to-day activities of subcontractors and vendors.Distill information down on ongoing efforts to manage a cohesive message forall stakeholders.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hoursOther duties as assignedCOMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, andCompliance regulations (internal and external)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, asdefined by managementSNC job descriptions are meant as summarizations only. They do not necessarilyreflect all duties and responsibilities of a positionEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:Requires a BA/BS in Related Field.6+ years experienceExperience with Macropoint Scheduling preferred.Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel (intermediate to expertlevel mastery preferred).Experience in positions involving design and development of systemarchitectures, hardware configuration items or software configuration itemssimilar to those required in SNC development programs is typical.Familiarity with (maintenance/operations) planning, purchasing,production, shipping/receiving, repair and return and quality assurancefunctions is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work history required.IMPORTANT NOTICES:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S.Security Clearance.
