Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer - SEIT Process Lead in Centennial, Colorado

Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a dedicated Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Design and Integration Team.

o This position will be the SEIT Process Lead for the FBM Reentry SEIT team. The candidate will work with all Reentry teams (AI&T, R&V, Mechanical, Electrical, etc..) in support of Reentry products and process. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of Reentry technical program management and process requirements across the team. This will involve continuous improvement of Reentry SEIT services process as well as MBSE process for use by the Reentry team. The position will require open communication and good working relationships with Reentry project managers and the Navy Experimental Reentry team to support current and future projects. The candidate will also work with R&V team, MBE team and System Modeling Lead to incorporate and enforce MBSE methodology into products and deliverables.

As a Systems Engineer , you will:

• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system level design and decomposition into requirements

• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution

• Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities

• Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution

• Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission

• Lead and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews

• Lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards

o Performs technical process lead role for Reentry systems. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Basic Qualifications:

o BS in Engineering or Related Discipline

o Experience in systems engineering and integration of Aerospace systems

o US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret security clearance

o Experience developing and implementing process improvements and associated documentation

o MBE/MBSE or other Digital Transformation experience

o Familiarity with program and design review processes (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, FRR, etc.)

o Proficient with MS Office Suite

Desired Skills:

o Familiarity with FBM Reentry products and processes

o DOORS experience

o Experience developing, reviewing, and releasing requirements specification documents

o Experience with Missile weapon specs and DOD/DOE requirements documents

o Active Top Secret clearance

o SysML/Cameo experience
