The qualified applicant will function as the focal point for SMORS Sustainment task orders, providing overall direction, leadership, program management, people management and development, and task order and resource allocation (headcount and staffing plans). The candidate will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with SMORS program management and functional leads. The qualified applicant will oversee and manage all operational aspects and performance of the SMORS Sustainment task orders including:
Responsible for the administration, planning, scheduling, communications, problem resolution, deliverables, and technical performance Sustainment activities (i.e. depot maintenance, reliability centered maintenance, logistics, parts obsolescence, systems engineering, configuration management, supply support, field support.
Manages the day-to-day work on the Sustainment task orders for team including subcontractors. Assigns tasks to team members, monitors progress and reports to SMORS program management and customer to ensure quality of team's work and on-time completion.
Collaborates with the customer and internal/external stakeholders to ensure client-satisfaction regarding project goals and objectives and strategic initiatives.
Serves as mentor and point of contact for team members to escalate, coordinate, and resolve issues and participates in goal-setting, drafts and delivers team member performance evaluations.
Provides inputs to the preparation of Sustainment task order proposals, business plans, work statements and specifications, operating budgets and other management work products.
Must have an Interim SECRET security clearance or higher to start and be able to obtain a final Secret.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field.
Minimum 9 years of related experience.
Demonstrated experience with logistics leadership and management working with diverse teams.
Demonstrated experience with Reliability and Obsolescence Management.
Must be able to travel 25% according to customer schedules.
2 years of direct supervisory people management responsibility in a project setting.
Experience with USAF/DoD tactical warning, space situational awareness and/or radar systems.
Previous experience supporting a Government and/or DoD customer.
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman project execution, processes and procedures.
Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Good verbal and interpersonal skills required to work closely with teammates, stakeholders and both internal and external customers.

Annual salary range: $105,600 - $158,400
