This position is for a college student pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. The co-op will provide complimentary technical support to the Mission Systems Ejection Seat Mechanical Engineering department. The co-op will perform various duties dependent upon the projects in which the candidate is assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Student must currently be enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree Mechanical Engineering or related field of study from an accredited institution

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA

  • Previous 3D CAD experience/classes

  • Previous experience/classes using Unigraphics/NX CAD

  • Previous experience/classes in Materials, Fabrication, and Manufacturing

  • Understanding of commercial and/or military aerospace design protocol is desired

  • Problem-solving skills, communication skills, ability to multi-task, drive for results, customer focus, team playing skills, ability to work in team environment, and technical skills are all preferred competencies
