This position is for a college student pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. The co-op will provide complimentary technical support to the Mission Systems Ejection Seat Mechanical Engineering department. The co-op will perform various duties dependent upon the projects in which the candidate is assigned.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Student must currently be enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree Mechanical Engineering or related field of study from an accredited institution
3.0 cumulative GPA
Previous 3D CAD experience/classes
Previous experience/classes using Unigraphics/NX CAD
Previous experience/classes in Materials, Fabrication, and Manufacturing
Understanding of commercial and/or military aerospace design protocol is desired
Problem-solving skills, communication skills, ability to multi-task, drive for results, customer focus, team playing skills, ability to work in team environment, and technical skills are all preferred competencies
