In this role under supervision this intern candidate will be a part of the product, test, and validation engineering group and is responsible for supporting the development of integrated circuits. This candidate performs a variety of routine to complex duties in support of the manufacturing and development of integrated circuits. These activities include new product development, data analysis, and characterization within all aspects of the development lifecycle of an integrated circuit.

•On a daily basis the Intern will be responsible for the following:

•Be able to review basic circuit schematics with a background in digital and analog integrated circuits

•Solving problems and development of new products within a cross functional team

•Define project objectives, metrics and milestones, monitor project status, report on progress and take corrective action as appropriate

•Must be self-motivated, process driven, able to work across functional boundaries in a team environment, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

•Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office tools

•Support process improvement projects


•GED or High school diploma

•Currently enrolled in an accredited University and working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

•1+ years of university experience

•Minimum GPA of 3.0


•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access

•Be able to review Statistical analysis, standard deviation, CPK, with experience in JMP desirable.

•National Instruments LabVIEW programming and/or engineering design lab experience is desirable

•Be able to review test engineering methodologies with a background in digital and analog integrated circuits is desirable
