Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Senior level experience and knowledge of aerospace reliability analysis using Windchill/Relex Reliability Software or comparable software

  • Experience with a majority of the following deliverables:o RMS Program Planso Reliability Prediction Analyses/Probability of Success and Reportso Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Reportso Failure Mode Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Reportso Fault Tree Analysis and Reportso Mission Interruption Rate Reportso Mean Time Between Failure Analysiso System Safety Assessment Reportso Safety Critical Part Analyseso Safety Hazard Analyseso Maintainability analyses and reports as requiredo Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) analyseso Failure Reporting Analysis Correct Action Reports.

  • Detail oriented and thorough in the reliability activity due to the criticality of the seat performance.

  • Strong customer skills and customer focus (both internal and external customers)

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently but primarily as the reliability lead for an integrated product team.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and long-term projects.

  • 100 percent dedicated to following all safety procedures and precautions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to present RMS information to customers

  • Excellent computer skills, including skill in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software.

  • Experience at troubleshooting including in depth root cause analysis and corrective action closure.

  • A minimum of 10 years of aerospace engineering experience with a minimum of five years of RMS experience.

  • Experience presenting reliability analysis results to customers

  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) environment

  • Experience presenting reliability solutions to internal and external customers

  • 3D CAD model interrogation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ARP4761 or MIL-STD-882

  • Experience with ARP4754A, FAR 25, and AC25.1309Experience with MIL-HDBK-470 and MIL-HDBK-472

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Comparable Engineering Degree
