The BMDS Overhead Persistent Infra-Red (OPIR) Architecture (BOA) team on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Information Systems Analyst.
The position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
Using reporting tools like ACAS and SCAP scans, perform security hardening on systems using DoD STIGs and other best practice security guidelines.
Perform cyber metrics collection and analysis against patch levels and STIG compliance
Support the development and maintenance of system Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC) packages
Ensure SIEM configuration supports needed alerts and warnings
Develop and maintain CND policies and procedures; identifying, documenting, reporting and correcting system vulnerabilities; and managing cyber incident response.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
9 years of experience with a Bachelors degree; 7 years with Masters, or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain and hold an SCI clearance
Must have Security+ with Continuing Education (CE) or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M
Knowledgeable in managing CND operations in a DoD environment.
Knowledgeable in utilizing cybersecurity software applications such as ACAS.
Strong understanding of IT networks and systems and the cyber controls necessary to secure them.
Experience in the configuration and/or operation of ACAS or HBSS and/or performing SCAP scans
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Linux System Administration in a multi-user networked environment
Experience in Virtualization technology (VMWare)
Experience as administrator using, IPA/IDM identity management systems, Red Hat Satellite, and other hardware technologies
Ability to evaluate system and network configurations for compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), NIST 800-53 Security Controls and ISO/IEC 15408 Common Criteria to formulate and implement effective high quality RMF accreditation packages.
Active DoD 8570 IA Workforce Improvement Program CNDSP Approved Baseline Certification.
Current certifications that fall into one or more category: GCIA, CEH, GCIH, SCYBER, SSCP, CSIH, GCFA
Strong writing skills to produce the coherent and concise documentation required for certification evaluation
