Join our team and thrive in a career that matters to the worldand you personally.KEY FUNCTIONSProvide engineering and analytical support to government customers in the areaof enterprise and systems architecture and system-of-systems engineeringInteract directly with Aerospace program office personnel as well asgovernment customersCollaborate closely and remotely with the SOSE team in Colorado Springs,CO; Chantilly, VA;and El Segundo, CAFacilitate the deployment or implementation of existing Aerospace tools andframeworks with government customersUnderstand customer problems and issues and turn them into tasks that can besupported by Aerospace capabilities at largeIdentify new capabilities and enhancements to current capabilities that willbetter support the customer baseIndependently conduct long-range technical studies and report findingsInitiate studies designed to solve new technical problems and provide newtechnical solutionsProvide ongoing technical consultation and advice to management,customers, and contractorsTake initiative to inform management of perceived technical problems andrecommend courses of actionLead cross-organizational teams and organize interfaces with Aerospace programoffices and/or government customersAct as the organization's designated representative at technical meetings,presentations, and symposiaOccasional travel may be requiredThis position is available as Member of Technical Staff (MTS) or Sr.Member of Technical Staff (Sr. MTS)Qualifications:Required MTSThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a securityclearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is requiredto obtain a security clearance.Bachelor'sdegree in science, mathematics or engineeringIdeally 2 or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systemsengineering and/or program management environmentsDemonstrated participation in broad, multidisciplinary teams involvingsystem design, acquisition and/or operations in one or more of thefollowing areas: satellite systems, ground systems, launch systems,spacecraft buses, and spacecraft payloadsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability toestablish and maintain effective working relationshipsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly tochange, be comfortable with ambiguity, and demonstrate initiative underpressurAdditional Requirements for Sr. MTSTypically, 5 or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systemsengineering and/or program management environments.This position requires a current and active Secret security clearance, whichis issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain asecurity clearance.PreferredCurrent TS/SCI clearance6 or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systemsengineering and/or program management environmentsDemonstrated participation in system architecting activitiesExperience with portfolio management tools and processesStrong knowledge of systems-of-systems (SoS)engineering andarchitectingand model-based system engineering (MBSE) discipline,literature, tools, and processesPrior experience with related Aerospace architecting and design capabilities(CDC,PDST, various performance, cost, and risk analysis tools, etc.)Extensive knowledge of the breadth and depth of ETG's technical capabilitiesandcustomer base with the ability to support from remote Aerospace locationsEqual Opportunity CommitmentThe Aerospace Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affir
