Systems Eng SME 01-2: Space BMC2 Operations Requirements Analyst (Job Number:437260)
Track development and testing of capabilities developed under the Space BMC2 Joint Emergent Operational Need (JEON) project by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Track development and testing of the capabilities developed by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (AFRCO) to support the National Space Defense Center (NSDC).
Leverage existing relationships to track development and testing of the capabilities developed by SMC, and commercial or government capabilities provided by Space C2 Enterprise Partners (e.g., Headquarters Joint Force Space Component Command (HQ JFSCC), HQ 14th Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), SMC/SY, SMC Space Defense Task Force (SDTF), AFRL, SSDP C2 Dev/Ops Division, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and other Intelligence Community organizations) to ensure a complete and holistic understanding of C2 capability test and development.
Collect and correlate schedule information from the aforementioned organizations and provide an estimated capability delivery schedule and track progress through developmental, integrated and operational tests.
Support AFRCO's and AFSPC's development of requirements, operational acceptance criteria, as well as testing and fielding plans.
Assist the Government in maintaining continuous interface and trusted relationships with higher, adjacent, and subordinate organizations, DoD staffs, United States Government civil space agencies, and industry partners to provide technical support to help AFSPC prioritize and address various organizational equities.
Collaborate with operators and AFRL to assist the government in identifying gaps, needs, and new requirements identified in after-action reports.
Work with Air Force Test and Evaluation in coordination with SMC to develop operational concepts, test requirements, organize resourcing, and assist in the architecting of enterprise space C2 test infrastructure.
Ensure fielding plans account for real world operations and training. Incorporate leader guidance to ensure organizational equities are met prior to installation of equipment or uploading software.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science required, Master of Science desired.
At least 16 years’ space-related experience including requirements, testing, operational acceptance, and space C2 enterprise operations and/or program office experience.
