What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Test Engineer you will define, develop, and execute complex test procedures in support the CAMMO contract for modifications and upgrades to the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) communication systems that link satellite operations centers with worldwide remote satellite tracking stations.
More About the Role:
Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications and system requirements. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.
Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities.
Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience:
Analyzing system requirements to develop and evaluate complex test specifications, test results and test trends
Test design, development and execution
Proven track record of:
Working with skilled engineers and technicians
Establishing strong relationships with government customers, subcontractors, and vendors
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Understanding of OSPF, edge routing and switching theory; Cisco experience a plus.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, etc. and experience in network performance testing.
Knowledge of software and database testing methodologies
Experience with developing automated test scripts
Knowledge of Agile software testing strategies
