Job Description:

With a focus on MEP, Industrial, Piping and I&C, supports VDC projects from initiation to delivery of final build and operations/maintenance for their assigned region. During design and/or design build delivery, reviews work of architects, engineers, operators and construction professionals (including subcontractors) to ensure adherence to VDC plans. Develops a mobile plans system for the site. Supports construction staff on construction startup, layout, and sequencing. Ensures that a record management system is implemented, and As-Builts are captured. Provides training to construction staff as needed. Supports project delivery by ensuring that lessons learned from previous projects have been implemented. Collaborates internally and externally to create, develop, and apply new technology and processes for VDC and its related workflows. Recommends updates to VDC policies and practices across the firm. Ensures a consistent approach to VDC within assigned region. Works cooperatively with sales, designers, operators, and construction professionals to create an integrated and collaborative project delivery process.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.

Must have 4 years experience combining model content with layout and survey equipment.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
