Contract Engineering Services has a great opportunity for a candidate withCivil Project Engineer experience! Our client is a full-service projectdevelopment consultant firm looking for a Civil Project Engineer for theirColorado Springs office.The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for the coordination,implementation, execution, control, financial performance and timelycompletion of projects, and the delivery of projects/programs that areconsistent with company strategies, commitments and goals. This positionprovides training, mentoring and project guidance for staff members. As aleadership position within the company, the Civil Project Manager promotesand develops new and repeat business opportunities that are in alignment withthe company s strategies and goals.Civil Project Engineer Responsibilities Provides supervision and guidance for overall objectives, criticalissues, new concepts, and policy matters within team; consults withSenior Project Manager and/or Team Manager concerning unusual problems anddevelopments and obtains approvals as appropriate. Takes a leadership role in the development of new business, promotingrepeat and referral business with existing clients, and developing newbusiness that is in alignment with our strategies and goals; participates innetworking events and business development meetings. Prepares and reviews project proposals, qualification statements,promotional materials, and professional services agreements; responsiblefor preparation, obtaining internal and external approvals, and managingfinal execution and subsequent amendments. Applies extensive and diverse knowledge of professional disciplineprinciples and practices to successfully complete projects. Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs team during theexecution of projects. Develops and implements project schedules and resource management thatfacilitates timely performance. Responsible for coordinating project setup in accounting system andcommunicating job/task/phase information to team members. Manages project budget; communicates budget allocation to staff fortheir respective assignments. Responsible for client invoicing and accounts receivable management inconjunction with the Senior Project Manager and Team Manager.Civil Project Engineer Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineeringcurriculum. P.E. Required 7 + years of experience
