WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil/Structural Engineer for our Denver, Colorado office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural design of offshore wind components

  • Develop design briefs, design reports and specifications

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with project team members

  • Work in a high pace environment

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure

  • Experience with design of offshore wind and/or O&G structures

  • Experience working with multi-faceted projects

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Microstation

  • Proficiency in Bentley SACS or equivalent software

  • Understanding of offshore design codes, particularly IEC 61400 and/or API RP2A

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Experience with design of offshore wind structures

  • Experience with pile driving and installation of offshore structures

  • Familiarity with offshore wind turbine design procedures and load exchanges
