At McKinstry, has emerged as an essential part ofproject delivery and a preferred method for ensuring that building systems areinstalled and operatedto provide maximum performance. Our Technical Servicessuite of owner-direct offerings helps our clients make decisions that willimprove efficiency, lower operating costs, and performatmaximum comfortandincreaselifespan of a building.In this position, you will perform commissioning activities on a variety ofsystems to verify compliance to engineering specifications. You willdevelop, manag e, and coordinate project specific commissioningplans - reviewing and verifying system installation, functionalperformance, and control system operations. It is your knowledge andinnovational mindset around design, system enhancement, and systemmaintainability that will drastically impact our efforts to enhance buildingperformance, health, sustainability, and reduce energy consumption.So, if project support, system analysis, and system verification arepassions of yours, this role might be the one for you. We are excited tohear from you in hopes of you becoming a steward of McKinstry andinvaluable member of our team.What we would like to see from you:Demonstrates proficiencies as a commissioning engineer.Advanced proficiency with MS Suite skills including project, Excel andWord.Working knowledge of mechanical and control systems.Ability to read and u nderstand construction documents and the abilityto identifypotential issues within the CD's.Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Fire/life safety, plumbing,lighting, and security systems.Communications skills both verbal and writtenEfficient use of building automation systemsBA/BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent workexperience.5-10 years relevant experience.The McKinstry group of companies are equal opportunity employers.
