Tetra Tech Inc. is currently seeking several full-time EnvironmentalScientists and Engineers to provide support on Wildfire Remediation Work.The selected candidate's responsibilities will involve providing technicalsupport in the areas of soil sampling, air monitoring, site assessments,and other in-field and office work including data management. Staff of theteam are also responsible for the planning and oversight of operations andsite health and safety.Work will include multi-media sampling, field audits and inspections,organizing and reviewing data, preparing reports, collection of airmonitoring data, contractor oversight, and related services. Worklocations will either be in northern California or southern California andwill require travel in the field with some home office work available. TetraTech will provide travel, per diem, and housing accommodations when ontravel. Current 40-hour HAZWOPER is a plus.Must be highly motivated, customer focused, and work well in a teamenvironment. Must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, andtravel. Excellent communication, client interaction, and organizationalskills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications are required.Heavy lifting of field sampling and other equipment will be required.Candidate must also meet physical demands of hazardous waste site work.Travel is required and varies based on project requirements; may includeweekend travel and work.
