This posting establishes a pool of candidates to fill temporary, non-tenure track lecturer positions to teach one or more undergraduate and graduate level courses as needed in the Civil Engineering Department on a part-time semester-by-semester basis. Course sections will vary from term to term and may include required courses or technical electives such as: construction engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, geographic information systems, geotechnical engineering, transportation, and water resources. This pool will remain active until December 31, 2016, when all applicants will be cleared from the pool. Applicants are encouraged to apply to future recruitment pools after that date.

Minimum requirements: A PhD in Civil Engineering or related field is required for teaching graduate level courses. A Master of Science in Civil Engineering is required for teaching undergraduate level courses. Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required for teaching undergraduate labs.

Desired Qualifications: Candidates with research or industrial experience in related discipline or teaching experience in a higher education environment are preferred.
