For our Denver, CO corporate headquarters we are seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance on our GRDQ (Global R&D and Quality) team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of quality, technological advancement, and food safety. What Does the Work Look Like?
As the Manager of QA you will manage internal and external customer relationships, including setting product evaluations and hosting customer visits which provide routine evaluation assistance, adjusting schedules to properly address emerging issues, accommodating product transitions from product/process development and product roll-outs.
You will be expected to be an accurate, reliable technical resource by acting as a subject matter expert within quality assurance.
Manage Cheese Department initiatives and operate as a subject matter expert in applicable technologies, policies, programs, systems management, and specification management for all aspects of QA.
Assure Leprino Foods and customer quality standards and expectations are being met by overseeing product evals, customer interfaces, testing, and methodology review.
Play a leading part in our Prevent Problems Before They Happen (PPBTH) philosophy of Leprino through training, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis activities by interacting with employees and customers to accumulate information, analyze the situation, and recommend solutions and improvement to quickly eliminate problems.
Return on Investment Capital (ROIC) Improvement by aiding in the achievement of the department’s financial, safety, retention, employee involvement, and other defined objectives.

The Right Candidate Will Have (Minimum Qualifications):
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology/Biology, Food Science/Technology, Dairy Science, or Chemical Engineering.
Eight years of food manufacturing, product development, and quality assurance.
Two years of people development/leadership experience.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
A Master’s in any of the above disciplines including twelve years as a quality assurance leader in the dairy manufacturing industry (cheese, yogurt, cream, or milk).
Three years of leadership experience whether in a plant QA or corporate QA environment.
