Job ID : 4764Here's where you come in:We are currently seeking a Principle Commissioning Engineer to join our teamas a member of our growing Technical Services division in Denver, Colorado.You're great at:Project Management Develop labor plan, equipment requirements, set milestones andprovide accounting documentation. Play an integral role in costing, scoping, and savings strategy tomaximize potential while reducing risk.Customer Service Provide a single point of contact for client regarding commissioningproject timelines and accountability. Collaborate on client presentations for commissioning projects. Continue relationship with client to propose new phases of work and gainnew contracts. Establish a network of relationships with Companybusiness units andengage in regular communication and coordination with business unit leaders.People Management Support and coach Commissioning Engineers. Develop project staffing plans to include labor and equipment. Provide on-the-job opportunities for the commissioning team to developtheir individual and collective capabilities. Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations for thecommissioning team. Direct the development and implementation of training programs forCommissioning Engineers.Marketing Provide Companyleaders and managers with information for decision-making. Develop and maintain a network of contacts for current and futurecommissioning projects. Alert McKinstry's media/marketing team to government affairs-relatedissues that have the potential to affect the company; work with them toprotect Companyfrom negative consequences. Work with McKinstry's media/marketing team to identify earned mediaopportunities.Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability and willingness to travel regionally. Physical ability to walk job sites in uneven terrain. Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away fromthe office (reimbursed).What we would like to see from you: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience required orequivalent work experience. Ten (10) years of experience in commissioning services required. Ten (10) years of experience in performance contracting or projectmanagement required. PE registration preferred. BCA CCP or ACG CxA certification is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlookand Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in BCA, AcG, PECI, NEBB and ASHRAEcommissioning procedures required. Knowledge of building HVAC mechanical systems, BAS systems, hospitaland health facilities, critical environment, electrical systems and energyanalysis preferred. Ability to read and understand construction documents (drawings,specifications, etc.) required. Intermediate understanding of other building system is required(fire/life safety, plumbing, lighting, security).
