Assess dairy ingredient manufacturing plant processes and execute projects percorporate standards using scientific instrumentation. Design, test, andexecute all phases of project, process systems, and equipment to maximizeproduct quality and production efficiency. Perform technical assignments anddevelop innovative approaches for achieving specific objectives within theframework of a project using knowledge of 3D parametric modeling using thelatest in CAD technologies; Machine Design Optimization; design analysisand testing of real world scenarios for evaluating fit and finish of designedequipment and processes; & drawing standards published by ISO and ASME/ANSI, for use in developing technical drawings. Provide technical advice toothers within specialty. Contribute to the preparation of technicalproposals, amendments, and reports. Prepares project plans and managessmall capital improvement projects and documents results for review bymanagement. Interact with other key stakeholders such as Plant Managers,Plant Whey Managers and Plant Whey Supervisors.Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, EngineeringScience, or closely related field + 2 years of experience as a mechanicalengineer, manufacturing engineer, design engineer, or closely relatedengineering field, or in lieu of Bachelor's, a Master of Science inMechanical Engineering, Engineering Science, or closely relatedengineering field. Experience to include at least 1 year working ortheoretical knowledge of: 3D parametric modeling using the latest in CADtechnologies; Machine design optimization; design analysis and testing ofreal world scenarios for evaluating fit and finish of designed equipment andprocesses; & drawing standards published by ISO and ASME/ ANSI, foruse in developing technical drawings. This position also requires travel up to70% of work schedule to company and/or client sites.
