Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.We have an exceptional opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our PhoenixCamelback office.Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as the Lead Project Engineer for larger and mid-sized water/wastewaterfor industrial process pump station and pipeline design projects which containa high degree of technical complexityLead the development of construction drawings, constructionspecifications, procurement specifications and piping bill of materials.Determine appropriate design methods. Develop and/or review hydraulicmodels and calculations for equipment sizing and material selection.Facilitate multi-discipline design coordination with other team membersthroughout entire project's development.Monitor design team progress for compliance with scope and schedule.Participate in quality control reviews of completed designs.Involved with development of client relationships.Perform other duties as needed.Effective communicator possessing good writing, presenting, and speakingskills.Solutions oriented self-starter, able to work independently and in a teamenvironment to solve problems.*LI-DP1Key words: Pump Stations, pipelinesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBS or MS in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.PE required.10 years of water/wastewater or industrial process project experience,primarily focused on pump stations and pipelines.Experience modeling pump stations in pipe network analysis software.Must be able to work in a team environment.Experience with alternative delivery (EPC or design-build) and fast pacedproject schedules.Proven budget management capabilities.Preferred QualificationsProject experience using Civil3D for development of pipeline plan and profiledrawings.Knowledge of Plant3D or other mechanical piping BIM software.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's alsoabout what you do and how you do it.
