You will actively participate in the full projectcycle, from the design phase through the final construction close out. Wework in close collaboration with the entire project team, ensuring optimalintegration of all systems.Responsibilities include:As a Senior Lead Consultant, Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible foroverseeing the mechanical aspects of project.Design:Produce high quality technical and professional deliverables for projects andproposalsApply deep knowledge of engineering techniques across multiple technicalfunctions.Exemplify well developed advanced experience in mechanical disciplineLead the development of initial mechanical system conceptsPresent complex technical solutions to clientsManage and coordinate project teams and projectsDevelop work plans to address technical issues within project time and budgetAnalytics:Review cooling and heating load calculationsSurvey and evaluate existing conditionsDevelop project specificationsUtilize advanced analytical and design techniques to solve technical problemsReview architectural drawings for compliance with building and safety coderequirementsPerform tasks related to construction administrationApprove and sign off on workCollaboration:Attend and participate or lead team and or project meetingsManage and or mentor junior staffCoordinate and manage tasks within larger projectsPropose creative solutions to complex problems as part of teamDevelop client relationshipsContribute and interact with team, develops and manages high qualitytechnical and professional deliverables on projects and proposals.Participate in local professional organization (attendmeetings/lectures), ie, poster sessions, participate in conference panelExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds,resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and relatedpolicies and proceduresOther duties as required by business needs Job RequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalentExperience mentoring and training others in field.10+ years of experience in mechanical systems design in the built environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills
