Job DescriptionRyan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative andforward-thinking Senior Technical Designer in Denver, CO who aims for thehighest standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to problemsolve the technical aspects of the design process both as part of acollaborative team and independently. Candidates with 12 or more years ofexperience are most likely to be successful, however those with uniquecareer experience or display clear potential for the role will be considered.Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involvesarchitecture, engineering, construction, development, real estatemanagement and capital markets. Ryan's integrated process requires anindividual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandemwith local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.Requirements (Qualifications)Relevant professional work experience with a proven record of managingprojectsExcellent organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate and lead a diverse team with a proven track record ofmanaging projectsStrong specialized knowledge of Revit, BIM tools, Building Codes,Documentation and ConstructabilityBluebeam knowledge desiredRoles and ResponsibilitiesWorks in tandem with Client, Architects, Design Project Manager,Designers, Development, Construction and consultants to developdocumentation for coordination and constructionIndependently solves problems and applies basic principles if designDevelops technical standards and techniquesProject DeliverySupports and leads team of Architects and Designers through the design processSupports and leads technical execution of complete and thorough set of designdocuments to meet project goals, milestones and schedulesLeads detailing efforts for a complete set of construction documents andconstruction phase to ensure a high level of technical accuracyResearch and lead code reviews and regulatory approval process EligibilityPositions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.Must be Authorized to Work in the USRyan Companies does not sponsor foreign workers for nonimmigrant visas oremployment-based green cards unless the position is on our executiveleadership team.
