DaVita Service Designer in Denver, Colorado

As a Service Designer on the Teammate Experience and Development team, you’ll execute on strategic, high-priority, teammate-related solutions. Projects will focus on all aspects of the teammate experience, from how we attract top talent to ensuring our teammates can deliver their best work and be the best version of themselves.

We join our teammates in the areas of operations, process improvement, and program design to develop solutions that support onboarding, learning, performance management, advancement and leadership development. You are a highly-motivated self-starter who has a passion for people and is interested in helping us meet the needs of our workforce so we can meet the needs of our business. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team to create digital, print and facilitator-led solutions in conjunction with business partners and subject matter experts.

As a Service Designer you will:

  • Approach every project with a customer-centered, design thinking mindset

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and match them with calls to action

  • Create concepts, prototypes and wireframes to pitch solutions to peers and stakeholders

  • Recommend an appropriate mix of print, digital and facilitation-led approaches for each situation

  • Design balanced solutions that include content that is pushed and content that is pulled

  • Write engaging copy that captures audience attention and delivers messages efficiently and effectively

  • Work with a design team to take solutions from concept to completion with speed and accuracy

You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in design consultancy, communications, marketing or equivalent

  • Proven designs and experience of launched services that have been implemented in the real world

  • Expertise in design thinking/human-centered design

  • In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant service design discipline

  • I.e. Systems Design, Business Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design
