SUMMARY

Freeman is looking for a Production Showsite Supervisor to supervise the show site production team, and ensure consistent, safe, cost-effective and successful show. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of pre-show planning such as production scheduling, ordering materials, producing load lists, setting budgets, attending pre-con meetings, interacting with Account Executives and facility representatives

  • Review work orders, floor plans, and set-up drawings

  • Coordinate move in and move out schedules with the convention center or building depending on the branch

  • Coordinate labor calls and supervise labor on-site and approve daily labor calls for each department

  • Evaluate daily labor to revenue, compare to budgeted man/hours with the goal to meet or beat projection

  • Ensure show site safety

  • Coordinate show site inventory and equipment. Establish a boneyard for the inventory. Ensure area is secure

  • Ensure that work is completed according to the work orders and production schedule

  • Actively supervise production to ensure efficiency and safety

  • Hold production meetings so that the team knows what is expected and when it is expected

  • Monitor floor to ensure that quality standards are maintained

  • Supervise dismantle work to ensure efficiency and safety

  • Conduct final check of facility to ensure nothing is left behind

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED

  • Associate's Degree

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience setting 1000 booth events

  • Must be self-motivated, dependable and a team player

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret various business cost reports

  • Proven organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills
