Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR currently has an opening for a Transportatio EIT/Engineer to join ourteam in Colorado. The primary responsibilities of the position is to providegeneral civil engineering expertise on the design and production of diversecivil projects for both public and private clientele throughout Colorado,across the US and internationally. The position requires the ability to leadproduction teams of engineers and designers, and work closely with theproject managers, clients and jurisdictions in the civil engineering of siteand infrastructure improvements. The position also requires the ability toserve as the project manager on small to mid-size projects. General tasksinclude site due diligence, planning, analytical engineering,engineering reports, construction drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D,specifications, communications and quality control. In this position, youwill also be involved in assisting other staff members in development of theirtechnical capabilities. The diverse nature of our projects often involvesbeing integrated into large, multi-discipline teams of engineers, plannersand architects and providing the coordination between disciplines. Theposition also involves supporting the group's marketing, proposal andbusiness development opportunities. Travel is limited but occasionallyrequiredQualificationsRequired Qualifications* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering* 4 years of progressive civil engineering experience* Engineer-In-Training certification is required.* Proficient and strong skills with AutoCAD, Civil3D design software packages* Experience with the MS Office suite of programs* Strong communications skills, written and verbal, and projectengineering skills* Strong teammate, team lead and ability to provide technical guidance andmentorship to staff* Experience in civil design and support for transportation and land projectsincluding entitlements, municipal reviews, site layouts, grading,drainage, circulation roads, utilities, ADA compliance and paving* Preference given to local candidates#LI-MB2Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it'salso about what you do and how you do it.
