Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR currently has an opening for a Water Resources EIT to join our team inColorado Springs or Denver, CO. The primary duties of this position includeworking under the direction of Project Engineers on the application of varioustransportation, water, and natural resources planning and design forfederal, state and local municipalities and water planning agencies. Morespecific duties include: data collection, hydrology and hydraulicsmodeling, scour analysis, and floodplain analysis included CLOMRs andLOMRs, and report writing. Typical projects include: stream grade controlstructures, dams, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation,bridge hydraulics and scour analysis, floodplain permitting support,master planning, and emergency management. The ROLE shall produce designcalculations, hydraulic models, draft technical reports, and other duties.Keyword(s): WATER RESOURCES EIT, HYDROLOGIC AND HYDRAULIC MODELING.QualificationsRequired Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Master's degree ispreferred.* 0 - 2 years of experience on water resources projects is preferred.* Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such asAutoCAD, ArcGIS, and hydraulic modeling software, HEC-RAS and/or SRH-2D, SWMM* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team tocompletion of task.* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a must.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's alsoabout what you do and how you do it.
