IAS tailors solutionsto customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs toconsistently exceed expectations and provide a turnkey approach to enable ourcustomers to focus on their mission.Must-haves:Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or relateddiscipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.Experience with propulsion analysis of space vehiclesPractical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an excitingcapability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing anew multi-domain system.Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering designevaluations for a diverse mission where everyone's input matters.Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance requiredPreferred:An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security ClearanceMasters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or relateddiscipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant aerospace experience.Experience evaluating analytical modeling tools and results to determineapplicability in meeting mission requirementsExtensive experience developing space related propulsion hardwareKnowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include,but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, materialhardware selection, manufacturing, and production processesProficiency with MS Office tools.Important Notice:This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
