The Packaging Project Specialist will work closely with internal and external partners to support various packaging related projects. You bring an understanding of packaging development and we will help you learn our full packaging portfolio. Excellent communication skills and being process oriented with the ability to flex are skills that will take you far in this role!

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external clients to initiate proper process flow of assigned projects

  • Develop and manage various packaging project schedules

  • Participate in managing project development projects from beginning to end

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with program managers and/or project stakeholders

  • Effectively communicate project plans and manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders

  • Estimate project resources as well as future team capacity planning

  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project team

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path

  • Use project management software to actively plan and track project time lines and milestones

  • Manage archiving of files and samples

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans

  • Improve upon and/or develop processes to support effective and efficient team activities

  • Utilize independent judgement and discretion to keep assigned projects on schedule

  • Actively engage with internal project management office and/or project management community to support larger business goals

  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment

  • Other duties as required

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.

  • Minimum three years of project support and/or project management experience required.

  • Experience in consumer packaging preferred
