Functional Job Title: QA Functional/Manual Test Lead
Work Location: Fort Collins, CO or Reston, VA
ASRC Federal Highland Technology is actively seeking an experienced QA Functional/Manual Test Lead to join our development team. The selected candidate will support a government client in Fort Collins, Colorado. The successful will be subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.

Leadership Position Responsibilities:
Approve team member's leave
Personnel assignments to Scrum Teams and tasks
ADP Goals and mid-year and annual performance reviews
Regular 1/1 meetings with team members
Collaboration with direct reports on career growth and development plans
Performance Coaching & Corrective Action Plans if required
QA Functional/Manual Tester recruiting and interviews
Onboarding and team/individual mentorship
Team member technical performance coaching
Collaboration and support of the QA CoP
Standards of Best Practices
Coding Style and Test Case reviews
Team member Story reviews
Communicate status of QA specific initiatives
Technical Position Description:
Must be knowledgeable and experienced as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer for testing web-based and desktop applications, software engineering practices, quality assurance standards, interpretation of product requirements, test plan development, test case development, and testing of software functionality, and usability. Candidates will require excellent communications and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to use their testing experience to make sound, common sense judgment calls during the testing process.
Test plan and test case development
Manual testing of software functionality and regression
Bug management and error tracking
Test report documentation
Coordination and prioritization of testing activities and the ability to work with multiple development teams and software projects are also critical for the selected candidate
Candidate must have the ability to independently troubleshoot software issues
