Dewberry is currently seeking a Site / Civil Engineering Intern forSummer 2021 to join our Greenwood Village, CO office to work on a variety ofprojects for clients within the commercial and government sector. This is anexcellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual tojoin a team of outstanding professionals, and the opportunity to apply thelatest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems.Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, commercial andindustrial site development, and capital improvement projects. *Local candidates preferred, no housing stipend will be provided. RESPONSIBILITIES * Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design,storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment controldesign. * Providing assistance and support to engineers for associatedcalculations, reports and spreadsheets. * Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to developdetailed design documents for construction plans. * May also conduct code research, assembling submittal packages,reviewing municipal checklists, writing specifications, and obtain permitting. REQUIRED SKILLS .and. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering required. * Previous internship experience preferred. * Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office is required. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work in a team environment. *Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
