Superintendent - Water/WastewaterJob LocationsUS-CO-LittletonID2020-2208CategoryOperationsPosition TypeExperienced ProfessionalDivision : NameCentralOverviewSchedule, coordinate and supervise production and workforce engaged in oneassigned project tasks, on a single construction project, specificallyprocess mechanical work on water / wastewater treatment plant andinfrastructure projects.What you will be doingSupervises assigned project work and liaises between field engineering,estimating, and workforce to ensure project compliance with contractdrawings and specifications.Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule forassigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports andupdates weekly schedule from project feedback.Reviews and understands the project specifications to support job set upactivities. Works with work crews, field engineers and local utilitycompanies to identify hazardous areas on job site.Forecasts the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technicalor scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.Provides technical input to identify and resolve project risks includingconstruction methods, work plan and material requirements, safety andschedule activities. Documents daily activities and meeting notes usingCompany approved document methods.Performs additional assignments per management's direction.Presents production work plan during initial project meeting to ensure allproject crews and leaders are in alignment.Coordinates with internal equipment team and external vendors to ensure thatproject work is equipped with appropriate equipment and material quantities tocomplete production within assigned budget and schedule.Coordinates with internal and external departments to ensure all mandatedinspections are completed within requested timeframes.Supports and promotes strict adherence to safety and process controlsregarding operating equipment, worksite safety and documentationrequirements. Responsibility includes recommending training needs identifiedon jobsite.Supervises sub-contractor production and workforce regarding assigned projectwork. Recommends work schedule or work method adjustments regardingsub-contractor activities, as needed.Coordinates project close out activities in line with Company standards andOwner checklist requirements.Maintains knowledge of Company values and strategic plan.What we are looking for8+ years of heavy civil construction experience required, morespecifically process mechanical scope(s) on water / wastewater treatmentplants and related facilities (i.e. lift stations, pump stations, etc.)5+ years construction management experience required, specifically onprocess mechanical scope(s) on water / wastewater treatment plants andrelated facilities (i.e. lift stations, pump stations, etc.)Bachelor's Degree a plus.Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.Valid Driver's License.Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills required.Strong leadership capability with internal drive to mentor and grow internaltalent.Growing expertise in a specialized construction type.Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenancerequirements.Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability toenforce project safety programs.Knowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rules.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract specificplans and specifications.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability andstatistics, and fundamentals geometry. Ability to apply concepts such asfractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drawvalid conclusions.General and growing expertise in process mechanical work including, but notlimited to: treatment process equipment installation, start-up,maintenance and repair; process pipe and appurtenan
