Position: R&D System Engineer, R&D Lead Engineer

Enjoy working with discipline-centric leads (Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Optical, Chemists, Verification, Test, etc.) to define technical requirements for winning, future proofed architectures and development plans for winning/successful products

Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead all technical aspects of our New Product Development programs
Work with Customers, Business Unit, User-Experience teams, and others to define program requirements
Advance the Hach worldwide System Engineering function with continuous improvement
Oversee and Lead architectural design for NPD programs
Be THE point of technical accountability for programs
Coach and Mentor less senior engineering associates
Contribute to future product roadmap plans
Provide technical depth and alternatives to facilitate business trade off discussions.

Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related field
5 or more years of proven success leading multi-discipline engineering teams
Demonstrated success leading teams to deliver successful products to market
The salary range for this role is 120K - 150K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
