The Threat Modeling Center (TMC) team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team asa Missile Modeling Engineer (Principal Engineer Systems) based out of Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado.
What You'll Get to Do:
The TMC is responsible for the development and delivery of high fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA's Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). This position requires adetail-oriented mid-level aerospace engineer responsible for developing high fidelity ballistic missile and space launch threat representation for use in a variety of modeling and simulation tools and media. Candidate must have a goodunderstanding of modeling and simulation methods and processes.
Research, interpret and apply parameters required to build, replicate and propagate missile or space launch trajectories to include staging, debris, counter measures and RV / payload traits.
Apply standard engineering and mathematical algorithms to ensure the accurate portrayal of expected missile or space launch behavioral characteristics during all phases of powered and un-powered flight.
Work with little or no direct supervision, work as an integral member of a product delivery team, and meet time critical delivery schedules.

5 years of applicable experience with a bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline or 3 years of experience with a masters degree.
Previous experience with modeling flight characteristics, motion, atmospheric dynamics, and missile performance parameters of ballistic missiles
Possess a final Secret clearance. Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Mastery of engineering modeling principles behind body motion, trajectory generation, counter measures, and debris
