Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a
Systems Engineering Manager 2 to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado , under the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Task Order. The PNT task order designs and integrates solutions for the Missile Defense System (MDS) located globally.
Job Duties
Responsible for daily operations of a team, schedules, costs and day-to-day contract execution
Cost, schedule and technical performance of a small system development-type and services-type Task Order as part of the larger SWDC program, as well as Control Account Management (CAM)
Works as the PNT Product Line Lead, and works with the PNT Engineering Manager, Cyber Engineer/Analyst, and Business Process Analyst within the team, management of functional staff within the program, coordination with stakeholders and customers across the MDA
Provides a continued emphasis on mature systems engineering practice
Ensures overall successful contract execution within expected cost, schedule and performance parameters
Responsible for developing proposals, baselining costs and schedules, developing and maintaining project schedules, financial forecasts and analysis, contract financial deliverables and customer interface
The candidate will have management responsibilities for Northrop Grumman employees and sub-contractors

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's of Science degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience OR a Master's with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. At least one degree needs to be in a STEM discipline.
Prior Program Management, Project Management and CAM experience
Experience leading staff and managing activities
Prior experience in leading employees in a supervisory role
Experience presenting and communicating with government customers
A current final Secret or higher DoD clearance; the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) elements and components
Understanding of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and responsibilities
General knowledge of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems
Experience proposing and managing a Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Salary Minimum for Colorado location: $127,760
Salary Maximum for Colorado location: $191,640
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
