Overview Trimble's MEP Virtual Design Team is hiring for Senior Detailers(Plumbing, Mechanical / HVAC, Electrical) to aid in 3D design,coordination and modeling. Specific Responsibilities * 3D design, coordination, shop drawings and detailing usingFabrication CADmep, Trimble DuctDesigner 3D or Trimble SysQue software * Extensive coordination work using Navisworks Manage * Review 2D & 3D CAD and Revit files, model organization * Advanced detailing specific to sheet metal domain while working withclients * Clash detection and coordination work, CAD team management, shopdrawings, and detailed CAD and BIM management * Manage, generate, develop, review, and log RFI s,submittals, contract documents, local code requirements, andconstruction drawi * 3D CAD and BIM research and troubleshooting * Develop estimates based off 2D construction drawings and 3D designModels * Develop, prepare and email project Statement of Works to the client * Meet with Client on regular basis to ensure satisfaction ofdeliverables * Clearly document all modeling work and report to supervising managersand executives * Project coordination and baseline construction schedules * Review client documents and submittals * Identify and discuss change orders with the client * Effectively communicate with external stakeholders during theconstruction process Required Skills * Mechanical pipe (wet and dry), sheet metal, plumbing,and/or electrical field experience on commercial or industrial projectsrequire * Journeyman status within one of these fields preferred, but notrequired * Fabrication CADmep, Trimble PipeDesigner 3D, Revit, and/orTrimble DuctDesigner 3D software experience required * Trimble SysQue experience a plus * Experience in prefabrication detailing and design * Strong understanding of coordination and the creation of shopdrawings, as builts, sleeve drawings and isometrics * Training certifications a plus * Hard working, motivated, professional demeanor and conduct * Must be a self-starter and be willing to take on multiple tasks and MEPcoordination projects both large and small * Experience communicating with project managers in via email, phone,and in person Travel * Up to 25% Industry Knowledge * Solid understanding of construction industry and processes with aworking background in construction trades or supervisory experience with ageneral contractor or large subcontractor * Extensive knowledge of Structural and MEP trades, shop drawings,common field problems and how to resolve them Education and Experience Requirements * 5-10 years previous commercial construction experience required * 5-7 years working for a contractor within the construction space inyour field of expertise Additional Information Trimble is an exciting, entrepreneurial company, with a history ofexceptional growth coupled with a disciplined and strategic focus on being thebest.
