Duration: Temp to hire

Pay: $70,000-$90,000/annually DOE

Kelly Services is seeking a Product/Mechanical Engineer for our customer that is a fast-growing company that offers comprehensive medical device testing services, design verification test equipment, and silicone mock vessels to the medical device community in support of domestic and international regulatory submissions and approvals. Our customers primary focus is cardiovascular technologies such as endovascular stents, prosthetic heart valves, and surgical catheters. As a small company, their environment is fast-paced, dynamic, challenging, and rewarding.

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to participate in all aspects of the medical device testing and experimental product evaluation.

Description & Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the development of test protocols and test method validation

  • Execute testing activities, perform data analysis, and critically evaluate test results and data

  • Lead in the data and statistical analysis and preparation of final test reports

  • Contribute to development of new business opportunities

  • Contribute to and support established quality systems

  • Maintain functional operation and calibration of testing equipment & systems

Qualifications:

  • BS in the mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent with 5+ years’ experience

  • Natural aptitude for mechanical technology and desire to work in a "hands-on" environment

  • Experimental testing experience required

  • Biomedical experience a plus

  • Technical writing skills required

  • Extensive Microsoft Excel and supplemental statistical analysis experience required

  • Ability to work well in a small team environment

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

Experience:

  • Medical Device Experimental Evaluation: 5 years
